JOB DESCRIPTION

Our veterinary team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate, comprehensive care to the community we serve, and we hope you are too!  Highland Animal Hospital is expanding and we’re looking to build our amazing veterinary staff to fill our new state-of-the-art facility, opening in July 2023!

We are a busy, culture-centered, progressive practice offering advanced equipment and services.  We pride ourselves in providing a family-like environment that emphasizes training and individual growth.

As our practice continues to flourish, we’re working toward becoming AAHA and Fear Free certified to be able to provide the most compassionate care to our clients and their pets.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

We understand that Veterinary Technicians are the cornerstone of any veterinary practice and are eager to welcome the best of the best to our team.  Our ideal candidate has their Veterinary Technician License in New York State (or is license eligible – we offer the best in mentorship!) and would be excited to assist with a wide variety of services to our growing client base.  Some other skills and traits that would be helpful are:

  • Solid understanding of animal behavior
  • Ability to handle large dogs, and fractious cats
